Play Bonus Pai Gow Poker for a Change in Pace

Bonus Pai Gow Poker is one of those new and innovative poker games that Microgaming creates every once in a while to give you something different in your gambling life.

Bonus Pai Gow Poker is a combination of American poker and the ancient Chinese dominos game of Pai Gow. Of course no dominos are used here. Instead we use a 52-card deck of cards plus one Joker which, in certain cases, acts as a wild card, but in other cases it is considered an Ace.

The difference between the standard Pai Gow Poker which has been one of online and land casinos' poker games for some years, the Bonus Pai Gow Poker has a Bonus payout which makes it a lot more profitable and more fun to play.

The rules of this game are a bit complicated and confusing and, since Bonus Pai Gow Poker has an auto play feature, it might be a good idea to use the auto play for awhile in order to get the feel of the game before actually tackling it on your own.

A Short Review of Bonus Pai Gow Poker

Bonus Pai Gow Poker was created by Microgaming as an addition to its online poker games to offer the online poker player a bit of a change in style and pace. The pace in particular is important because, in this game, you can adjust the game speed to Slow, Medium, Fast and Fastest, a very convenient feature.

The objective is to form two hands out of seven cards dealt: one hand of five cards (called the High hand), and one hand of two cards (called the Low hand). The aim of the player is to have both hands better than the Dealer's and, therefore, to win the game. If only one hand is better, the bet is returned. If both the Dealer's hands are better, you lose.

Your bet is placed before the cards are dealt, and you receive seven cards face up, while the Dealer's cards are face down. Only after you have separated your seven cards into a High and Low hand, are the Dealer's cards revealed. The Joker can be used to complete a Straight, a Flush, a Straight Flush, or a Royal Flush. Otherwise, the Joker is counted as an Ace.

Of course the extra plus in Bonus Pai Gow Poker is the Bonus Bet. The Bonus Bet is placed at the same time as the main bet, and the payout is determined by the value of the seven cards dealt to you and before you separate them into High or Low hands. This is where you can receive significant payouts. The payouts for the Bonus Bet are displayed on the Bonus Pai Gow Poker game screen.

The Bonus Pai Gow Poker game is a challenging and entertaining change in the world of poker. You will definitely have a good time trying it out.
